Whew.. been quite busy lately with work and life in general as I'm sure most of you are this time of year.
I am re-posting this image taken in 2003 of this lenticular cloud that appeared over my hometown on Hilo, HI. This image was posted on Webshots for 4 years and received 6 comments, but over 10,000 views. Last week it was featured as the "Picture of the Day" on Webshots.com and received 201 comments and over 139,000 views!

I saw this type of cloud on Mt. Hood (in Oregon) once but it didn't have the beautiful colors that this one has. This is an amazing shot and I'm glad you have been recognized for taking it. Congratulations.
