AloooooooooHa!
Whew.. been quite busy lately with work and life in general as I'm sure most of you are this time of year.
I am re-posting this image taken in 2003 of this lenticular cloud that appeared over my hometown on Hilo, HI. This image was posted on Webshots for 4 years and received 6 comments, but over 10,000 views. Last week it was featured as the "Picture of the Day" on Webshots.com and received 201 comments and over 139,000 views!
Needless to say I was pretty stoked! I guess if you hang in there long enough people will eventually see your work. If you care to see the whole album you can see it here: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/101837989BNXXkX?vhost=outdoors
Thanks for dropping by and indulging me....Holidays are slowly creeping up on us, I hope everyone is in the holiday spirit! Much Aloha to All!!

Wow, spectacular, though it looks almost menacing. The colors and light are just amazing!!
Well.. I am not surprised that it was featured and recognised like that. It is one amazing shot mate. Wow.. blown away with awe. I always had a thing about skys and clouds and the more dramatic the better imho. And this just tops all I have seen so far. Thanks for sharing xxx
I remember seeing that cloud on that day but wasn't into photography at that time. Congrats my friend for this rare capture in Hawaii. Aloha
This is quite an amazing cloud formation. Thanks for posting this formidable appearing cloud. Nicely done.
You think the Holidays are slowly creeping up? BAM!!! The Holiday that is known with the "creep" is over... The Holidays feel like they are knocking at my door - and I don't want to answer it - LOL. Your picture is wild, My Wife (DiamondSnatcher) was sitting at her desk and I made her come over to check it out... I said, you want to see some good photo work, this guy here is my favorite - check it out. She said, wow, how'd he do that? I said took his camera a clicked, LOL. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!! PS, I still haven't done anything with that photo I asked if I could use, been busy... plus I was looking for a couple props before I creat it... I'll let ya know.
I was at the mall at that time. Sorry I didn't have a camera on me then. I have this picture on my cell phone wallpaper. This way, I will always remember this shot. Glad you could capture it. Excellent work. Aloha
