Description
These springtime-pink roses were blooming in October. Imagine my delight!
Sneak factor: Low
Two houses down from me is a raised bed outside the neighbor's fence that has all sorts of lovely things growing in it. There's a gravel parking strip between the road and the bed, and sometimes there are cars parked there, so I have to get behind the cars to get the shots I want.
If it were another house I might raise the sneak factor rating a little bit. However, these folks have often caught me hanging about, taking pictures of their plants. One time I was actually standing up in the raised bed taking photographs of their rhododendron when they came home. They just waved, said, "Hello!" and went in the house. I think they don't even find me interesting any more. ("Oh - there she is again - whatever!")

AMAZING DETAIL & COLOR TOO :)
This is so beautiful. I saw someone using a solar reflector once to focus the sunlight back onto the face of a flower to balance the light. Never tried it, myself, yet.
Beautiful capture!
This is delightful. Hallowe'en was sure fun, but what a delightful change this is! The colours and sunlight are a tonic in this lovely capture! Three cheers for the sneaks of the world with such noble motives!

Dang, takes half the fun out of it if they're so blase' !! Well worth it all, though, these late bloomers are such a delight this time of year!!

Rosie, you are my posy, you are, my heart's bouquet, come out, into the moonlight... and that's about all I know of the song. I'll have to listen to more of the tune to hear the rest of the words. And, for the enlightenment of many: Bloomer, in British slang, is a foolish or stupid mistake. Also, bloomer is named after Amelia Jenks Bloomer (1818-1894); US social reformer and feminist, who advocated the costume, consisting of a short skirt and loose trousers gathered at the ankles, worn in the 1850's. That said, vivid colors, sharp clarity, textures and back lighting in this fantastic capture of the beautiful pink roses, my dear friend!
Excellent!!!
