Description
This was a character study for a single-page comic tale that I made during a course of roughs that I made at the Duperre High Art School. In fact I never draw this comics, and I will not do it now, because I am busy on my adventure project "Silvia", which will encompass a number of entire 46-pages comic albums. But I have done another single-page comic tale that will be my next post. The characters were drawn with a 0.2mm Rotring Rapidograph, then vectorized under Adobe Streamline and colored in Adobe Illustrator 8, a process that I used during several years. There are eight dwarfs, and not seven, because since the story was told, the dwarfs have had a cute little boy: Sykiel! The Prince Charming was published in 2004 in my book Le Grand Livre d’Illustrator (The Big Illustrator Book, http://www.le-grand-livre-illustrator.com, sorry, this site is only in French). Do not miss my next post for my little faeric comic tale "Do not make the angels weep".

It would appear that those dwarfs keep themselves busy ... at least they produced Sykiel. Well, a couple of them were busy anyway. :-) Very nice character illustrations. Well done!
Very nice drawings!
C'est en quelque sorte le générique d'une BD qui comme je le comprends n'aboutira pas dans l'immédiat. Dommage !
Lovely drawings indeed. You are a great illustrator. So well done.
a very lovely characters. Nice work! :D
As allways great characters and I like this style of all your styles the best. Can't wait to see the Silvia comics!
A fertile imagination at work. Simple vector lines and solidly colored characters. No clutter. A real good and well defined character sheet.
Very imaginative fantasy characters It would have become certainly a nice story. Very good work!!!!!
Cute! Very cute indeed! DO keep up the good work! DPH

Bravo!
