An unusual shot this one, are they decorated further with lights, or other decor? What are the pipes? Good capture
Great picture !!!
this is the first time I saw them I think the will be all light up for it be at night as they come down the bayo
great shot
I bet this is a sight. I know we have several boat parades each year where I'm from. At Christmas they have all the fishing boats decorated with lights and such and then for the 4th of July they have them all decked out in red, white and blue stuff and there is a blessing of the fleet at the start of shrimp season... They are all wonderful to see! I'd love to see this one. Maybe I will someday.
Very intertesting capture, Jock!!! These advertisement ships?
I am asuming since the near one has batteries they do light up. Hope we get to see them lite and coming down the river. But no pressure Jocko lol. A cool shot.
Cool, my wife is planning a party at the haunted place! haha Wonder if the boats have ghosts?
Unique shot Jock
wow! This is very interesting!!!
Well done!!
We always see the finished displays, never before have I seen the framework! This is really cool! You should post the pipes now that we know what they are!! I bet they do make a really cool image!
FABULOUS CAPTURE !!!!!
Although somewhat premature, considering it isn't even Halloween or Thanksgiving yet, a great capture of the Christmas boat floats, Jock. They look like watercraft from the movie, WATERWORLD, starring Kevin Costner.
I just can imagine when its lighted up at night. Interesting setup. Aloha
NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Very interesting, I'm sure they will be beautiful lit up in the water at night.
OK..this is the before shot...you have to remember to get the after shot once they are completed...

Excellent scene. Your work is always so full of interesting stuff. Not just a bunch of sunsets and the usual stuff but really different kinds of things.. Magnificent, my friend..
I have seen the sailboats in Huntington Harbor in a paradeat night. These houseboats and floats are another form. I wonder who has to pedal the generator bike to light them up.
I sure do hope you get a night shot! I love this one! Excellent shot! (:
