Description
I came up with this Mojo planet and was inspired by the sky FX to create this disaster scene.
A lucky roll of the dice, by using the Planet Wizard !
The Pink Floyd song from "Atom Heart Mother" came to my mind and seemed like the perfect title !

If you are after more realistic look, may be try deforming the ship a bit in the area of the impact.

What an almighty explosion of everything including colour. Your man looks to be irradiated, super how you have done that. The machine looks to be coming through not bothered at all. Here I am showing my age but I don't know many Pink Floyd tunes, but your title really tells the whole story. Excellent work.
