Description
"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -
Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -
On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -
Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!"
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."
"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil - prophet still, if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God we both adore -
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore -
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore."
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."
- «Profeta - io dissi - creatura del male! - certamente profeta, sii tu uccello o demonio! -

Wonderful spooky character for Halloween and the setting is awesome! Wicked work!
Just at the point where folklore and history inculcate the ancient stones. Be this stele or just happenstance. The interpreter will try in either case.

"Prophet", said I, "do I go insane, languising, yapping, raving in the rain. For I'm just a man of Delacroix and you I see are just a crow, but my eyes do deceive and indeed I'm am raving for you are a Raven. Tell me devil is my task to end this misery at last and be free for ever more." Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." Also quoth the Raven, "Your style is hauntingly beautiful."
