I like to fish but have not fish in years. lol Guess that sad in a way. but I do not have time. I just go aand buy fish if I wish to eat fish. Here You see these two men fishing at the end of the road and there is a gate that is closed before you get to these two guys. Then you have to walk 200 yards to get to they truck. I walk to where I can zoom in on them and get this shot. It hand held so I know after that day at Lake Martin I need to use a tripod. I need to learn more on the settings of this camera too. I got the book but you know men then go test things out first then maybe read the book[let you in on something wemen. Us men think we know it all] hahahha
thanks for comments and please go fishing before it too cold. of couse if you ice fish please take photos to show how cold you are.[never been ice fishing]

looks peaceful.
Looks like a great place to fish or take pictures! ;)
Beautiful place and shot, thanks for sharing************
You have to have the "hot" answer from experience before you and let the "cold" answer from the book seep into the brain. So it is with a mix of fish and possum.
This bring back some very missed memmories! great capture!!!!!!!
A wonderful fishing scenery you have captured here! The silent and peaceful atmosphere looks fabulous here!!!
Nice shot Jocko, great timing, I don't know if anybody else as spotted it but between the two men, you can see the lure being cast out, it's a green florescent one. I have eyes of the hawk. I used to go fishing every weekend but not been for twenty years now. All men are the same, when I get a new toy, I play with it for hours maybe weeks before I read the instuctions. Excellent shot, location and subject, you just got to love those guys. Bravo!!!!!
Excellent shot Jock....!!! Very balanced composition...!!! Beautiful reflections on the water, I like the nice natural lighting.....!!!
No fishing today, a hurrican in blowing you around right now! We should get some rain out of it.
I really like this one Jock. The colors and lighting are perfect. I think I would have cropped off some of the right side, thus moving the men out of the center to make it a little more dynamic. Rule of thirds applies here.
Great depth and calm ! very quiet and noiseless !!! Beautiful shot !!!
Super shot Jock :)
Fantastic ! Good day :)
U did Great. very awesome feeling of calmand serenity. What if U slowed ur shutter speed down to 250/sec, and increased Ur f-stop to 8,0. or 11.....How would that be??? TTTTTTEEEEEERRRRRRIIIIIFFFFFFFIIIIIIIICCCC!!!!!!
wonderful photo, my friend!+++++
Nice shot...makes me wannna grab my pole :o)
Hope the hurricaine didn't mess up the local fishin'! Another cool picture of life on the Louisiana bayou.
Ha Ha, Jock, I learned from my husband that you don't read the instructions until you flat out can't figure it out. The you go look at the pictures. The as a very last resort, you read the instructions, LOL!!! Now as for the picture, I didn't thing it was flat at all, I thought it had a lot of depth. Where you stood to take this picture was perfect because it really made the lighting wonderous and magical!
love those swampy trees there... i bet they catch great big catfish in those waters !!... fabulous capture in beautiful light!
