Description

Nikon 7900 image. I found this little Green Anole peeking out at me from the back side of a leaf. As I moved, he moved - but not far. We played this game for 20 minutes. I would get a shot and move for a different position, then he would move. I managed to get a number of pretty good shots of him. If you view the full size image, you can actually see the membranes of his eardrum, lol. I am fascinated by the texture and pattern that makes up his scaly skin. Surprisingly, they feel quite soft and rather smooth despite the scales. One more will be posted tomorrow for sure. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

You have the patience of a Saint, I love you're commentaries and quite a few make me smile. I can just imagine you, creeping about so as not to frighten the subject away, things I used to enjoy myself. Thanks for sharing this beautiful little critter, I look forward to tomorrows post. Bravo!!!!!

great macro shot.it would have been cool if you could have gotten him on a stick rather than rusted metal, it really doesn't take away from the photo at all. i think the shot was well worth your effort in time and thecolor green knocks you socks off.
