Description
Captured 7/14/07 around 7:30 AM, somewhere within hard walking distance of my dwelling.
Because of the dim light on the dark side of the street when I snapped this shot, I had to push my postwork skills to the max trying to create a happy medium between the dark center and the light outer petals without losing the colors, detail and textures of this stellar blossom. In fact, I returned to this photo several times under varying degrees of room light in order to tweak it to my satisfaction.
Many thanks for any and all kind and uncritical comments you have afforded my postings.

I like a darker middle and brighten up towards the end of every petals. You even captured a little tiny visitors on this wonderfull flower.
