Description
Captured 7/14/07 around 7:30 AM, somewhere within hard walking distance of my residence.
Again, the photo was taken on the dark side of the street -- the bailiwick of Darth Vader -- so some postwork was necessary.
Hope you're not getting bored with these daily postings of dahlias, because there's more to come.
Thanks for dropping by!

wonderful detail shot here. cool post work too
Lovely work.
So beautiful dahlia and excellent composition and color ! Good day and hugsssssss :)
I love this type of dahlia. The bold petals and the simple construction all makes for a wonderful subject that you handled excellently. I can't imagine what the yard looks like that has all these different dahlias in it... or is it a neighborhood where everyone is required by CC&Rs to have Dahlias in their front yard? In any case, you got a great perspective here and your post work is really great to end up with this lovely photo.
In this series you capture a colors so well, or fix them with a postwork. Realy like these flowers day after day...don't stop posting them.
Gorgeous capture!!!

Delightful Dahlias, Darlin'! Keep 'em coming. This is such a lovely color, like lemon pie . . . with stripes . . . and the light looks great. You did a wonderful job!
