Description

The camera was a generic "Wallgreens", 400 ISO, 27 frames. I found the lens quite less satisfactory than apparently used in other entries. Sharpness was sometimes fine then other shots were like a pinhole camera extra soft without the dof. Next time I go for the $4 camera and not the $3 one! The fuzziness kept one of the better shots from being in the posted. These shots were taken in areas I wander about. I was looking for perspective type shots but got others to boot. Flash on the sneakers, others natural light. Except for the two shots, all are converted to bw for this challenge. I am a bit embarassed with these entries compared to those already posted! : ) This is perhaps a slightly different take. Regardless, this was FUN.. The challenge is going on in the Phography Forum; look for the sticky. The idea is to get a disposable film camera, use it up and post the best 5 shots. No controls with these cameras! Just your eye and direction of lighting make the shot. No time limit here..go for it!

These are fine! These camaras were never supposed to be for photographers like us, more for drunken parties.

I had to go back and redo the background...supposed to be white, not the original blue that once was here. And, I subsituted the color version of the wall for the bw one first posted in the collage.

Where do you wander that you have a temple bell? Very neat stuff. I think these 5 shots turned out great. The rocky details are great in the first considering the camera it was shot with. The second one though is my fave of the lot. ADDED TO THE CHALLENGE PAGE

Looks like it was lots of fun. We bought one at the zoo, $12! Does that mean there'll be one shot worth looking at? I like them all for different reasons, but the shot of what I think may be a joist in front of what may be a window creates the most interesting pattern. I love the decayed dock/bridge too.

Sorry about the late comment. A brilliant set of images from a disposable camera. I like 4 and 5 the best!

Wow - what a great group of shots! I've been staring at them, trying to figure out which are my favorites. My answer is, "yes!" :) They each have something to recommend them. Nice choices!
