Description
Coming from a previous gallery image, I decided to do this one high key. Wanting only the "monolith" to celebrate in an as yet undone digital way the motion picture "Space Odyssey 2001", the cat joined when he decided to rest on the infinity curve and ...made the shot what it is. I personally like this remake. I was not sure where to post, which genre. This is not really "manipulation" in that all is original image, only edited. Enjoy. TomDart.

Very nicely done, Tom. The textures stand out wonderfully. I'm not sure I get the 2001 reference but I don't think I need to, to like this. Glad to see someone else experimenting with hi-key. ( PS I started with a very hi key shot to begin with, too...My face had very bright sunlight on it...which helps. ) . Thx for sharing and have a great weekend.-M :^)

It's quite cool the way only darker bits show up. Bennie is quite cute.
Very stylish black and white. Because of the lack of shadows, it looks a little minimalistic, and I like it. I found the original in your gallery, and I have to say your cat is very talented :P (Thanks for your comment... I'm sure you have a tender heart)
