Creating 3D characters that look like their 2D counterparts is definately NOT easy- this is really cool; great idea and wonderfully executed! I am particularly interested in the selective outlining of areas like the mouths and eyelashes and homers 5 o'clock shadow- that is a really cool effect and what really makes it match the cartoon. Very nice!
Ha ha, simpsons all right, great show, Awsome pic! Very well done!
Thank you...! The image at the top is a straight render w/no post work at all... that was really tough. The "mouth lines" and "eyelashes" are actually 3d tubes shaped to look like their mouths, etc. Anyway - thanks for the comments! ~stealthman
Hmm, nice job. Not so sure about marge's hair.
Nice. I think the lighting is a little dark.
Awesome work, the thing about 3d versus 2d now you have the characters and can move them and pose them anyway you want. Really cool!
nice models of the Simpsons. Now you can see the dichotomy of things. If you post ina non poser gallery your work gets ignored no matter how good it is. great piece.
Awesome modeling job!!
Great family portrait, hard-core Maya organic modeling there, my hat's off to you old friend....:)
FANTASTIC! Man, that's really impressive stuff. The characters look spot-on, and I like the solution you came up with for representing Marge's hair. All your work is damn amazing in my opinion.
Terrific! I'm absolutely impressed w/ your talent!
Very cool!

It is very beautiful and very excellently! It is surprising and fantastically! Five stars!
Absolutely marvelous! Not only first quality modeling but also well composed and enchanting colors.
Very nice. I would like it better, without the extra images at the bottom.
Me too. However - When I FIRST posted the image with nothing at the bottom - I didn't receive anyone's comments. I opted to change it afterwards...
Very COOL
