Description
Not sure whether this is Architecture and Photography or Photography and Architecture but the Architecture came first and took an awful lot longer than 1/200th sec.
The house was constructed from timber framing on a concrete slab, clad in stained cedar and rendered brick with corrugated steel roof.
The house looks out across to Kawau Island - see my previous post taken from the property. The Pacific Ranch Style design is intentionally conservative and harks back to the Arts & Crafts Movement of about 100 years ago.

What a great place! One part blue & white, the other white & blue. And with that beautiful wood and brick, it may be conservative but it's a work of art. And I bet the view is tremendous. Those light fixtures look like bronze ... are they? You did a marvelous job of adding your 1/200 sec. to this masterpiece. Bravo!
Old Hippiekeyboard, thanks for your thoughts. Always appreciated The lights are copper as is the corner cloaks on the weatherboards. They will dull off and eventually get a green patina.
