Description
The cliffs of Moher was one of the most majestic sights of my trip around Ireland. The cliffs rise up in County Clare and this place despite the gloomy day took my breath away with the sheer drops down to the sea some 720 ft just north of O'Brien's Tower, eight kilometres away.
The cliffs boast one of Ireland's most spectacular views. On a clear day the Aran Islands are visible in Galway Bay, as are the valleys and hills of Connemara.. They were building a multi million tourist centre when I was there, I just hope they do not spoil the place...

A superb capture, Danny! My feeling is that they are more spectacular on a gloomy day! Very beautiful work :-) I have visited this impressive spot, it took my breath away too. What a sight to watch he sea birds flying hundreds of feet beneath the cliffs. As I type I am listening to Luke Kelly singing "Song for Ireland"... the most perfect music to accompany this wonderful work!! Diane.
Terrific pov. I like how you made sure that rock meets water is well displayed. The length of the shot takes you right down the cliff face. Very nice.
Wow, Danny; this made me say 'wow' right out loud. What a view! What a scene! Gorgeous photo... I love it :)

Tourist center, huh? :^( I wish they could leave beautiful places like these alone. I'd hate to turn around and see some ugly building. Wonderful capture, Danny. I can imagine myself standing there and taking it all in....

Wowww this is a frightening beautiful shot! Fantastic!!!
A soldier and a farmer see it different from a teacher. Sitting or squatting changes the perspective from standing or lying down. So it is best to just take it as it appears, now.
spectacular shot! awesome vista
