Description
This week's hike was to Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge. This is Punchbowl Falls, one of the more popular destinations. It's only 1.7 miles (2.7 km) up a virtually level trail, so almost anyone can do it. As I shot this there were people swimming behind me, and I was standing in water up to my knees. The sacrifices I make for you guys! :-)
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Another gorgeous shot of a beautiful falls. Really like your waterfall shots. Interesting compo with the fallen tree.
I know it's July, but isn't that water a bit on the chilly side for swimming? This is a great shot. I love the shape of the rocks - it's obvious where the inspiration came from for the name!
Thanks for making the sacrifice... Beautiful shot.
Love the way you went after the fallen tree!! Great shot Dennis!

Beautiful waterfall..
Very relaxing place! PaxSV
A wonderful waterfall. Thanks for your sacrifices.
The water has carved a very interesting notch for itself here. Good shot although I'm a bit distracted by the log. I keep trying to duck down to see under it... :-)
Wonderful colors and light. Fantastic shot, I like the fallen tree on the foreground!
