Description
Nikon 7900 image.
Here is the female of the same species as the male I posted yesterday. I managed to capture both shots on the same day but it was a very unusual occurance because I have had very limited success in getting usable shots of this species.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

The quality of the detail in the wings here is better than yesterday. She isn't as colorful but she is beautiful just the same. The spots on the wings are a nice touch. Great shot! Amazing how crisp your insects look, regardless of size.
Beautiful love the detail
Gorgeous macro in this pic.. superb details..
Nice capture...
Very nice shot Lee .. these damsels are gorgeous.
Beautiful Damselfly. Not as crisp as one is used from you, and a little flat, but the light seems to be the culprit here. Not enough of it?
X-cellent shot Lee. I have a tough time getting a good close-up of a rock wether alone someting that moves.
This one is certainly usable! It is a splendid capture with fascinating and gorgeous details. Bunny
i love this image. What a dainty looking insect. Very nice capture and focus.
Beautiful MACRO!!!!!!!!!!!
Delightful image! I love the delicate lacy wings ans intense colours! BTW Any thoughts as to a first camera for a three year old? Mullaney wants to catch dragonflies like you and not hurt them. BJ
