Description
Early summer impression, inspired by a photo. Most of my works are based on my memory and imagination, but occasionally I use "a source" for inspiration. In part because it's more demanding, I like the technical challenges. And this really was a challenge - it's the third version on my machine :)
In this one focus is very much on the backlight effect on the vegetation, and plant design.
Also, using mixed materials on the water texture for a stream effect.
Toolbox: Vue 5 Infinite, Onyxtree, G3D "Grass" & "Twig", and Photoshop, mainly for levels correction.
Thanks for taking a view, any comments etc. you may leave will be very much appreciated.
Have a nice day

This is so gorgeous, especially that water. Beautiful work!
Gorgeous work!
Excellent!!
very true to life
wonderful scene! love the light... and all appear very realistic
The only thing that bothers me is the bright green fern on the middle left. It seems a little out of place and the color value doesn't match the rest of the palette, but such a small detail in an overly impressive image Lars.
how lovely. i wish i could be there. :)
