Description
Early summer impression, inspired by a photo. Most of my works are based on my memory and imagination, but occasionally I use "a source" for inspiration. In part because it's more demanding, I like the technical challenges. And this really was a challenge - it's the third version on my machine :)
In this one focus is very much on the backlight effect on the vegetation, and plant design.
Also, using mixed materials on the water texture for a stream effect.
Toolbox: Vue 5 Infinite, Onyxtree, G3D "Grass" & "Twig", and Photoshop, mainly for levels correction.

As usual, everything is quite nice, but, for me I have to say I like the water probably the best. Wished I could get mine to come out that well LOL If I were to give a critique, it would be that I think the green frame takes away from the image too much. Maybe a more brownish green would of been better? And a less intense, or saturated color for the frame? I like your lighting too. ............md :)

Awesome work - I really like the rock textures in the water.
The scene is excellent. The detailing is very evident of photographic reference (they always have better details when you base off a photo). Render time might be prohibitive, but this might be even better with Radiosity. Very well done. :-)
