Description
This is a shot of Wahkeena Falls from the bridge that is just visible in yesterday's upload. Like many of the waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge, this one exploits a crack in the layers of basalt that comprise this part of the world.

Wow, this is awesome!! Different viewpoints of Columbia Gorge side by side...Superb image Dennis!!!!!!
Beautiful ... I love your work and the area you live in ...
This view is just as awesome as yesterday's. I simply love the green cradle that supports this lacy, whispy water fall. Excellent.
Wow awesome. The water looks like angel hair...
Beautiful ...the green moss and flowers really add to the beauty.
This is just perfect Dennis - a lasting reminder for me of the beautiful waterfall shots you present us with before I leave for holiday (this will be my last viewing for over two weeks now sigh!) This is magnificent. Your POV is excellent....I'm almost cricking my neck to look up this fantastic feat of nature. Excellent motion in the water and lovely details in the green foliage, moss and flowers. Superb. Hugs. xx

Wow, great POV! Love the effect of the running water against the green foilage.
A beautiful shot. Looks like a bridal veil.
What an awsome POV!
Another great one, Dennis. I need to get out there again myself. Perhaps this weekend if it stays cloudy; next week is going to be sunny and HOT!
I love the way the water catches on the tiny outcroppings and makes interesting lacy shapes! A beauty :)
Can almost feel the spray on my skin, hear the crash of the water. Sublime shot, heavenly fall. Thank you Dennis. Diane.
Beautiful waterfall...
I really like this waterfall.
