Description
Sometimes like to approximate a well known comic character - usually leading to a picture or two. Read somewhere that for a fairly two dimensional character The Phantom keeps a 'toehold' in more countries than any other comic hero series! Tried here to give him yet another dimension. Thanks for looking and for comments made previously!

This is the first one of your covers where the man comes off being the sex symbol. You're right about the phantom's popularity, they even did a movie version a few years ago. Love that expression.

You beat me to it, i've been planning a Phantom Render for some time. One thing i'd like to point out, Lee Faulk the creator of the Phantom always insisted the uniform was grey, but back then it was the news paper publishers that controled what colors got used not the artist. Faulk hated the purple and even put in dialogue refering to the Phantom as "the grey ghost" but the publishers still made him purple. I suppose now most people in the USA are so used to a purple Phantom that if you did it grey they say it was wrong. I say in the USA because in many countries they used Red and in others Green or Blue, still an awesome render, 5+
