Description
Here is a quickie for Saturday.
This is the anther from the stamen of a lily flower. You can see the pale green filament swooping away to the left. I know it is rather large, but I felt it was better to see all of the detail in this case rather than the whole image on your monitor. Even so, this is about half the resolution of the original.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

No words about the perfect centring , light and colours .....Just one word about the macro ....Huge one ! EXCELLENT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Well, I'll talk about the colours then: Fantastic! The lighting too, really brings out the detail. Nice capture
Excelent shot to see a details, and a lighting is so perfect to bring this strong orange/brown color out.
Looks like an orange loofah, I guess you just have to shrink yourself first, before using it ? Fine macro and hues ! ~Cheers~ :o)
I love the color and detail of the texture, this is an intriguing shot!
Wow. This is a great POV. I love it.
Super color and lighting in this super macro shot of the anther! Good contrast against the black background. When I first saw it I thought it was part of a fern plant that had been dipped in a bucket of cranberry juice.
VERY COOL!!! So neat to see that detail!! Who'd have ever guessed it? :o)b
Excellent Shot!

Amazing shot and I never have seen that part of the lily so clearly shown. Beautiful shot.

More expensive than gold - a great capture with excellent DOF!
Love the color and detail. It resembles the tiny blooms on lichen which grow on my wooden fence but unfortunately I cannot capture with my current camera!
fantastic picture of a small world bravo
Amazing view. Rotate it on its side, with the stem at the top, and it appears to be some kind of fancy mop. About as close of a stamen as Ive seen.
I love the textures and colour. A brilliant macro shot, Kort!
Impressive macro !
