Description
Nikon 7900 image.
This is the 2nd picture of this species (Eight-spotted Forester Moth) that I have posted. The other was about nine days ago and was entitled "In the Garden of Eden".
I have seen a lot of different species of caterpillars this year for some reason. I know where to find the Gulf Frittilary ones because I know where their host plants are located but usually I just stumble upon the rest of them.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Stellar! I sure love your excellent Piller shots. They are always so crisp, clear, focused and well it.
Excellent capture, if the moth is anything like the colours on this catipillar, it would be spectacular to see Stuart
nice...!
Gorgeous one of a kind photo!

A true splendor !
Beautiful macro, your details is amazing. Big Hugs
Great - what a beautiful caterpillar!
This is an exception photo. Are you sure he is looking for a way up or a roller coaster ride? The direction of the vine reminds me of a roller coaster and he represents the cars. I love this one.
Nice photo...
