Description

Hi !! Well, I was out roaming the fields again today over my lunch hour .. I found a few little things to shoot; one of which is this little spider. Kind of a cute little guy I thought; with pretty markings. I'm not sure what kind of spider this is exactly; either Rabid Wolf Spider or possibly a Huntsman Spider? The markings aren't exactly right for either one though. I want to thank Busi2ness (Piet) for all of his help in trying to figure this one out. :) Have a super day! Shari

Cute???? No way!! I think I'll stick to my furry tarantula!!! This thing creeps me out much more than the bigger variety. But you have captured it brilliantly with such detail and clarity. The DOF is amazing. xx

Very good shot. I like the composition a lot and you managed to get a good focus on this tiny little guy. Having tried to focus in on tiny critters who are suspended on a web or out on a limb (so to speak), I know that is not easy. Unfortunately I can do no more than agree with you about the species type. They don't all fit the exact patterns and being a young spider, not all adult markings may have apeared yet. Congrats on a nice find, capture and presentation. Lee
