Hello :)
(Draft of a model Im creating),
I would like any suggestions on his skin?Scales deep ridges,or left alone.Idea's welcomed.
I created this out of spheres .The head is 3 zspheres starting at under 200 polys.Then up levels and moving the wires ending at about 1.6 million polys.The tongue and teeth I made out of spheres also.Deforming and skewing,adding detail etc all In zb2.The texture is just dark shades around the eyes and mouth.I postworked some colour blurs and shading.I can post the step by step if anyones intrested.

Works really hard at the mo,learning xsi6 and lots of downloaded tuts is killing me.I get ZB3 tommorrow too,and Im only 4 hour sleeping a day currently!..lol

Lookin good man. Ive been catching the progress of this here and there over at ZB Central. Its coming along well. I dunno if I like the DOF since it kinda loses a bit of the detail that you go for in a program like ZBrush, but it does a nice job of bringing the focus in on the eyes. Maybe lighten it up a little? Im eagerly awaiting ZB3 too. And when are we gonna see some XSI stuff from you?
I like it like it is. A little glow a a touch of squint to the eyes may make him seem even more sinister than he is now. Not that he doesn't look sinister already. How the heck do you spell sinister anyway? ;) Of course if you really want to butt-ugly him you could add weeping sores. Hee.

You do fantatic work with zbrush. Not been getting my ebots so I have to pop in and surf to see these now. But tonight I canged my email addy here and the ebots are starting again. :) hmm, some folks might say they wouldn't want to meet that fella in a dark place, but I wouldn't want to meet him in bright light! lol He looks fearsome.

Well, no suggestions from me really. If I could get a damn sphere to look like this, I'd never leave the house! LOL! This guy would probably kill my computer trying to move around in a scene in any program! And if not, he'd probably eat me in the process! LOL! And way to go learning XSI!! You will be in the movie biz in no time flat! Amazing work, this is just wholesome ghoul goodness at its best!!
