Another in my series of photos taken at Sitting Bull Falls, N.M., USA. Thanks to those who have given me comments and encouragement on the other photos so far.

I love this plant, well done capturing it. They are a total pain to try and get a real good shot of as the flowers dont stay around long and getting close isnt easy as the leaves are how shall we say "very pointy".
True about the pointy leaves. Thanks so far for all the comments, everybody; you'll never know how encouraging you are to me right now. About the leaves, there is a related plant that is even stouter and sharper than this one, and, while capturing this little jewel, I actually got stuck on the inside of my left leg. It hurt like the dickens, but I didn't think anything of it, until I got in the car after our trek. I had bled all over the top half of my sock -- I mean soaked. It was a pretty scary looking puncture, too. These plants are strong. :)
