Description
With the last week's "Theodore Payne Native Garden Tour" now behind me, I thought I'd take the opportunity to share a few of the more spectacular California native plants that visitors saw in our garden. Also here's some proof that California native plants aren't just "Weeds and Cactus".
Here we have Trichostema parishii (Parish's Mountain Blue Curls) found in southern part of Southern California. The one more common to the Los Angeles area is Trichostemma lanatum (Woolly blue curls) http://www.theodorepayne.org/gallery/pages/T/images1/trichostema_lanatum1.jpg
