Description
Well, for those of you who are in areas where there are lots of pretty scenic shots, this may not seem like a big deal, but I finally got to go where there was some pretty scenery, albeit still desert.
I did the grandfather-father-son thing with my dad and my boy. We were able to hike around, and this is a nice location stuck out in the middle of nowhere, about 35 miles or so from Carlsbad, New Mexico. I'll hopefully cull out a few more decent shots in the next few days.
I would love any and all comments.

Nice moment, nice shot!!!
Very beautiful!!!
Very nice view!
Great exposure on this one - I'm still practising on trying to keep the skies blue, but you have succeeded perfectly in this shot. I love the POV and the motion of the water. Great capture. xx
Stunning capture, what a beautiful place. I think a polarizer would have worked really well here
Awesome landscape!!!! Fantastic photo! +5
Marvelous POV... impressiv great capture!
This is a nice shot, it is amazing how a waterfall can be out in the desert. Can you imagine the elation of stumbling across this after a couple hundred miles of cactus and sand! Have you been to McKittrick Canyon, it to has water year around, and is a nice hike for any age. Todd
