Description
I took this photograph last August, and forgot I had it!
I believe these tomatoes ended up as follows:
Heat up a good amount of olive oil in a small saute pan. (No - a little bit more than that. You're making sauce for pasta, and you'll want enough to coat it lightly.)
Add herbs - whatever you like. Maybe oregano, dill, thyme, basil. Cracked pepper, for sure. Let the herbs heat with the oil.
Cut your fresh-off-the-vine-home-grown cherry tomatoes in half, and put them in the pan with the oil. Stir once in a while. This should only take a couple of minutes.
When the tomatoes are cooked through, add some goat cheese. It melts quickly, and thickens the sauce. Pour over pasta.
Enjoy!
By some weird quirk of the universe, I'm a really good cook, even though I purely HATE cooking! I came up with this one day based on the fact that I had some goat cheese and a tomato and a kitchen, and not much else. On various occasions I have added other veggies, such as green beans or asparagus tips.
