Just wow!! I guess your series is big! That is another amazing LAVA shot! Very well done JOE
Wow, just so amazing to get to see.
Beautiful the line of colours. Great work again
Now thats another good one ! looks like a big creepy crawly slug..lol
What a shape! The glow you get is really excellent.
Ok, it's always lava ... but it looks beautyful. One of these days I'll steal one of your snaps to make a backdrop for Dante's inferno in Poser, or something like that. If you don't mind ...
wonderful "hot" glow.....wow bugatti, thats a good idea if sharky_ agree with it.....
Wow, I never saw this in reality! Thx + great!
wow that;s hot! where did you make this pic at?
Excelent shot, I like the reflection of the hot lava on a cooling surface!
Looks like a giant vacuum head to me, just sucking some of the lava.
Another great shot!!!! Bravo Errol!!!
Lovely capture, like the superb angle on this one, thanks for sharing!!!
How close do you feel the heat? Very exciting shot.
Always extraordinary and one can see how the such formations after the ages of time and erosion make up much of the features of our world
LOL - hard as rock - LOL - good one! another good shot.
A giant glow worn, inching its way across the harsh landscape...
+++!. lg.lordlotte
Awesome shot .... If Time has not been beating on your door yet, they should be L I agree with TwoPynts ......it looks like a GIANT glow worm!
wowww so beautiful form in this lava, it looks like a devil eyes !!! Excellent :)
Another great shot, just I'd get scared of stepping on what you think is a hard surface and it turns out it isn't.......
Hot rock! Another fantastic capture of lava in its transient stage. The yellow and red stage is magnificent. The cooled stage on the right looks like the skin of a prune.
look like blood veins on the lava tongun
korrektor...Picture taken on the Big Island of Hawaii at a place called Kalapana. Tom...depending on the amount of fresh hot lava before you, you will feel the intense heat betwee 5-10 feet. Any less than that, you will start losing you hair. It is very hot. Thanks for asking...
There are over a hundred words for snow in some languages, are there as many in Hawaiian for lava? I'd love to see the words paired with the different types. The pictures always seem so varied in texture and heat. BJ
mamabobbijo.... The names we use for lava 'a, 'a'a (rough lava), pahoehoe (smooth lava). I don't know if there is any other words use. Aloha
Very nice shot! 8-)
This one is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! Always love the lava shots!!!!
The process of cooling goes quickly it seems, but cooled lava makes more Big Island and that's a good thing! Aloha~
Spectacular, Errol! I've been wondering how long it takes to harden enough to walk on. I saw some that was still quite hot, but had skinned over. I wasn't about to step on it to see if it would hold me, though. :-)
