Description
I had planned to take a brake from Poser, but the incredibly generous free distribution of Apollo Maximus 2007 has dragged me back!
This is my first render with the figure, and I have to say I'm loving the Face Room support.
I used a modified version of a Carodan displacement map (available in Free Stuff) for the forehead wrinkles.
My inspiration was also clearly Carodan's amazing images. I 'borrowed' more than a little of his style with this compostion.
Apollo is a figure without equal, regardless of cost, and I urge anyone and everyone to download it now!

brilliant realsim and lighting
Thank you Corvas. I should also have mentioned there was no post-work done on this image. All raw render out of Poser 6. Testament to how great these Apollo textures are!
Excellent texture and realism. Very well executed. bow
...looks very realistic
Test? Well, let me say I notice a color difference in the neck area. Just trying to be helpful for your test. Love the wrinkles in the forehead.
I think Mike is just seeing the light and shadow. Excellent Render. Wonderful pose.

Nice realism.
it's great to see the return of AM renders...this is a wonderful render...i like his expression and your use of light excellent...thanks for sharing...
Thank you all. I really wish I could take credit for the lighting, but it's not mine. I used the Raytraced light set included in the Apollo pack. Thanks Anton! I hope Apollo will see a shift from mostly female images on this and other sites.
I so love this, talk about realism, regardless of how you came by it, its outstanding work! And yes, more male renders and art is sorely needed! I'm all for this! Hense, my Beefcake's Revenge Men Series - lol!
Superb. Like you, the Apollo figure has sparked a bit of creativity ... it's great fun.
That looks fantastic. I really like the velvety edges and I REALLY like the texture on the forehead, very expressive.
