Description
This began as a simple light test render, but I quite liked how it turned out (hence the upload). I used a combination of two IBLs and three spot lights, my most complicated light-set thus far.
This was originally a classic nude, but inspired by ruana

This look really nice I like the transition from white to black in the background as well as the reflection thing you have going on. Very nice.
Thanks killa. I was originally going to have a black background, but thought the boots would have been completley lost in the blackness. I just wish I had given myself a straight horizon! Oh well, maybe next time.
absolutely marvelous!! The expression is priceless! The materials and skin look beautiful!! Excellent work!
Thanks SophiD. The skin texture is just standard V4. It's amazing what good lighting can do! The suit texture is a slightly revised car dash texture I dig out of my library. I thought latex would have been too 'busy'.
Fantastic render. Great composition (I love the strong top left to bottom right diagonal). The two tone background is inspired. I would never have thought of doing that. It's hard to believe that this has had no post work. As SophiD says, the skin and cloth tectures are spot on, not to mention the lighting. It's nice to see colour creep back into your images. Great title too.
for a simple light test is good one, wel done
how did i miss this?!?!?!?!?!? its awesome!!!! i love her expression!!!!! and well the rest.........AWESOME!!!! great work!
Thank you everyone. BtB - Just a teeny tiny amount of colour creeping back :). The diagonal composition was very deliberate. In fact, it's quite common througout my gallery, going all the way back to my second image (The Sword). netseawolf - Whenever I set out to make a 'grand' piece, it falls flat. It's when I'm experimenting everything seems to come together. ruana - There's a definite and unfortunate seriousness to my gallery. This expression was my excuse to show my softer side, and be a little cheeky in the process.
woww, so impressiv work and excellent composition and perspective !! :)
I really, really like this!
Her expression is wonderful, the play of light on the white floor is very creamy. The black and white against the beautiful skin tones really works her. Great image!
Awesome image! Well done!
