Hi guys!
Not everything alive on a beach. I find this crank wheel in a shipping harbour. Help me out I have no idea what is been use for, but "salutes" to every ship coming to bay.

Ein Superteil, tolles Foto!!!!
I'm with you on that one - I have no idea what it would have been used for but it makes for a very interesting photo!! Well spotted! Great colours to this shot too. xx
Its a superb capture, Tunde. Love this rust. I like finds like this :-) Could it have been used for hauling cargo from ships.. As the daughter of a Navy Man, I should know. Maybe for ships to tie up too?? In other words.. I am clueless :-((( Would be very interested to know what it is.. If any of the brains here know :-) Hugs, for happy night. Di.
A wonderful find and a great job of capturing it.
not sure as to the exact purpose but an excellent find and capture
Di, this is my guess too!
looks old. so the knowlegde may have slip out of reace. It looks surreal.
Nice finding tho.. And i love rust...and regarding this piece... i believe it is a piece from an engine. I mean ship engine tho! They use similar pieces to pull boats, ships from the water sometimes. But that seems to be a real old one ;) Thank you for the post and have a wonderful day dear JOE
Nice capture of this thingamajig, Tunde. I don't know what it was used for, but it looks about 5,800 years old. There may have been some very advanced civilizations back then...Atlantis, maybe? The rust really comes through on this capture, and complements the reddish surface it sits on. Bravissima!
Interesting find. I don't know what it is. Aloha
Oh yes, excellent picture on this oxid object and very nice color and composition :)
Love these old machines .....Probably a kind of winch used to pick up boats from the water ... I saw the same (not rusted)
what a splendid sculpture that is!
