One of your better images and not because I love such photographs, but because you managed to capture the essence. I am not so sure as to the secondary colour as the tone has lesson the contrast level. A lighter shade would have helped maintain the contrast. I am also wondering about the name plate on the mailbox which is not toned and if this was done on purpose. As for the framing, you already know my feelings, even though this one is more subtle then the others. One final thought, you have here more than just a door, you have an architectural structure and returning to it will allow you to become more intimate with the subject and in turn you can take more images of the structure, including detail photographs and before too long you will have a series in the making. Thank you for sharing. egmont

Fascinating image. You carry my imagination to the many stories and history behind the doors. Just like the exterior walls show layers, I think of the layers of human drama that exist there. Excellent photography and mystery.
