Description
A shot from the Gulf Coast last week. I found this brown pelican staring at me so funny.
Don't know what his name is, maybe he is a cousin of Wendy's "Sebastion". :)
Thanks very kindly for your recent comments!! And thanks for stopping by... Maria

Fabulous detail and head on pose.
Brilliant capture!
As if the shot wasn't stunning enough on its own, you cap it off with a perfect crop to make it 'technically' perfect too. 7 out of 5 for this one! What's your camera, by the way?

Great shot. Makes one wonder what this guy is thinking.
An gorgeous portrait....absolutely perfect
He was probably cross at you for not waiting until he had smoothed his top hair down. This is an incredible shot with wonderful detail of his feathers.
So who blinked first, you or him? lol Great capture! Love the stare he's giving you & the DOF... Well done...
LOL I love his expression, like "Just what do you think you are doing?" Gorgeous shot though Sebastian would be proud to be his cousin!
Terrific capture.. definately going in my favorites.
Perfect is a good description of this shot.
Congrats on this incredible image! I have to just agree with everyone here on this one for I do not have the right words to express how incredible it truly is! Oh, by the way, I hope he was the one to blink first!
One beautiful look & capture! Bravo Maria!
