Description
I was trying to take a shot of a "monolith, as in the film "2001 A Space Odyssey" for possible use later as a full size monolith. One of the cats, Bennie, decided he had to occupy background of the infinity curve of flooring material rolled out. I took the shot anyway. I liked it. Thanks to the inventive mind of this curioius cat.

Beautiful cute kitten! Excellent shot!
Hey, I think it's a better shot. Any shot with a cat is a better shot.
beautiful cat and they want to be the center of attention
Wonderful shot!!!
nice shot of the cat.
Beautiful cat Tom!!!!!!!! or was it Tom cat???
What the heck, the cat just had to help out the photographer slaving away at the impossible shot, LOL! I love it and you captured the cat very well down to fine detail.
Well..Bennie decided to want to be a star..sure he is! Great shot Tom!
Very good composition and great colours
Hooooo, it his very cute and seems to think! I love it very much!
It turned out great, even with the uninvited and oh so cute 'intruder'. :)
One of my favorite movie and ...........Excellent compo and idea indeed !
I have missed that movie so many times I've given up trying to see it! I love His Nibs! He is of course already a star! Please skritch him under the chin for me and tell him thanks for making me smile! BJ
Another shot I am glad I saw here. Oh, I miss my cat! The idea of a cat and a monolith works perfectly, and of course, the hidden truth behind 2001: A Space Odyssey is that cats ARE truly responsible for humankind's ascent into true sapience. At least that's the story any cat is likely to tell you! Anyway, this is a fantastic image, wonderfully contemplative and playful! I love it.
