"You! What planet is this?" ~ Dr. McCoy, to a homeless person upon appearing in 1930's Chicago (City on the Edge of Forever), Star Trek, the original series
I couldn't come up with a better quote today, but I think this rather fits. It is amazing how a view of our own planet can look so alien. Have a great weekend everyone! -----

I stay dumb when looking this pict! A "chef d'oeuvre"!!!
Hey, alternate dimensions and universes, my favorite subject! And, not exactly that far fetched or necessarily in the scifi realm, either! Magnificent detail and contrast in the infrared, young man! Incidentally, I went to a Star Trek seminar at a local community college many years ago, which featured members of the prop department displaying the many objects they had created for the show. To boldly go where no man has gone before......
I agree it certianly looks very Alien, an Alien Winter Wonderland ! KKK ~Cheers~ :o)
Spectacular work!
One word...Stunning!
Amazing ! Excellent work ! What a splendor...
Yep, I remember that episode :o) don't know how you did it, but this is awesome Kort ! ~ Hugs ~

Wow... those IR-captures are just amazing. I never tryed out IR-filters, but now I am curious!!! Beautiful!!! Lara
That image looks wired. IR works well here, though I would tone down the leaves at the front.
Genial Kort ! Visually impressive.
I'm really enjoying this IR series, the dramatic effect is awesome!!!!!!!!
This is absolutely stunning, and does look like another world. I love that Dr. McCoy quote. :-)
My favorite ST-TOS episode. This Image is amazing, would certainly be a viable alternate world back drop.
Kort - I've just been catching up on your last bunch of photos - I very much like the IR landscapes - the quality of the light is very dramatic & unique. This is my favorite of the lot, though they're all very good. Don't know anything about infrared photography - do you need a high end camera, a special filter, or ???
too cool I like your choice of blue
Fantastic work my friend Bravissimo
