Description
Hey Everybody! Geez it's been forever since I have posted...been pretty busy with school. I am not pleased with the clarity on this but like the subject. It was so overcast when I took it and I had no way to steady the stalk the crane fly was on or my camera (guess I am lucky it turned out this well. Anyway if you look closely there is some sort of spider lurking on the bottom. Thank you for your much appreciated comments, I hope everyone is doing well!
Wendy

an excellent macro and if you ever get one of these guys in your house do not go to bed before removing it. they always seem to go for your face and you may beat your self silly trying to get rid on it while you are asleep. looks like the spider has it's eyes on dinner
A wonderful shot Wendy!!! I an not best keen on bugs at all. Bit of a woosie. Your shots are always a joy to see.. even if I end up itching :-(( Hope school is going well. Missed you. Hugs. Di.
A very interesting subject and pov.
Excellent macro! Considering everything that was against you, you done well.... :)
Great macro. I am surprised it came out this good too. Very nice work. Hope your schooling is going well. Aloha
oh ouch!!! ... what a brilliant find and capture! fantastic macro!
I didn't see the spider till you mentioned it. You've got all kinds of action going on there. Great shot and nice to see you posting again. Good luck with school.
Splendid capture with a somewhat artistic bend to it too as a bonus. Well seen and captured. It holds a lot of natures potential surprizes for drama. I think the amount of light from the back makes the subject stand out well. Good to see you back Wendy, good luck at school!
I love it, I love the close up macro shots, and I think you do well no matter what you take! thank you for sharing with us!!
A fantastic macro indeed. Looks outstanding!!
Wendy...this could be the spiders next meal.I guess you never stuck around to find out. Overcast is not bad for this close up.Pretty steady if you ask me.
Great capture, what an unusual insect, amazingly long legs Stuart
Ouch! Lucky that insect has long legs. Excellent capture. Aloha
Nice one! Yukky, too!
excellent macroshot !
happy to see you coming again, Wendy !!! Even the light isn't as good as you want! you're so expert every time that's a very good close up !! And a great capture, not only the mosquito, the hungry hunter spider with yellow translucent legs but also the "alien" behind the plant that makes thinking it's a monster spider with orange hairy legs !!! Very good macro, Wendy ! q:)
