Description
This photo was, like the last one I posted, taken along the shore of Lake Hume which is somewhere along the border of New South Wales and Victoria, in Australia.
While the sun is undeniably merciless once it rises, it's still capable of producing one of the most beautiful and peaceful sights imaginable.
Of all the photos I took on my last run along the shore of the lake before we left, this is my favorite one. It shows the desolation of the dying lake, but not quite as harshly as the previous photo does.
As the title suggests... it's like capturing the beauty of the beast just before it lunges at you and tears you to shreds
==================================
This photo was also taken with the surprisingly disappointing Olympus FE-130. While it's incredibly smaller than my older Nikon Coolpix 5700 and they're both 5mpx, the image quality still leaves much to be desired

I really like this, it is so surreal. Did you edit it at all to give it that color/glow? It is a nice mixture of colors and I like the way the color seems to be fading away.
completely unedited. i guess that crappy camera got something right after all :p
