Description
I had something very different in mind when I set out to modify yet another interesting bit of landscape I discovered on Google Earth... Southeast of Melbourne is Wilson's Promontory, where I'll be going camping this weekend. Just above it, between Norman Island and Snake Island, there was an interesting tentacle-like formation in the water. I thought it looked something like the hand of Nature, reaching for the land from the depths of the ocean. That's what this picture going to be called originally.
Then... somehow... out of nowhere, a different image emerged... darker... more malevolent... a sinister alter ego of Nature, thirsting for blood and darkness. It was in that alter ego that I discovered.... The Heart of Darkness!

Damn...you are good at using these google earth images, bro. This will make a nie wallpaper. Awesome colors.
well, it's my new wallpaper and i like it :D i can't get most of my graphics programs to run properly through the windows emulator on linux, so i make do with what tools are still available. i'd still pick photoshop over GIMP any day, but i guess it still gets the job done :) thanks for once again taking the time to comment. i guess it motivates me to keep them coming whenever i find them :)
