LOL! Wonderful expression - oh, my - did she break a nail? Catch a splinter? What is the connect to the picture's title. It reminds me of a situation in which an unfair move that caught someone off guard and sat them on their rear. Such sadness, such a look of betrayal. I can almost picture her friendly sparring partner standing over her with a smugly satisfied, 'See? You're not so tough' grin on his/her face. Could she be saying to herself: "Don't cry?" That's what I think; the eyes hold water. Just purchased Nanette, BTW.
