I've been using these for practice whenever I am outside birdwatching. I find it so difficult following birds in flight, trying to estimate where they are heading in order to get a decent pic. This is a great shot of a Turkey Vulture. I wish I could have gotten my Bald Eagle shot this close.

Lovely capture! Good lighting too. It takes a lot of practise to pan and take a shot like this. I am still practising - now if they would just fly a bit closer than a mile I would be happy!!! LOL Well done!

Superb capture! And I really dig those wing tips with the tapered fingers! Great looking textural design under the wings; kind of reminds me of New Mexico Indian art. Incidentally what is IS, and is a FZ50 a SLR camera?
