Description
What's a beefcake to do? Can't just sit around moping. A man needs to get out, explore all the other possibilities, right? Why sure, there are after all, plenty fish in the sea, and if at first, you don't succeed, then - try - try and then, try again... with that in mind, Beefcake number two, spins into action.
"Oh I'm sorry, did you want to use the ladder?" The amber vision inquired so sweetly. He was at the library, deciding he needed to find a good book to read and so, seeing her perched high, she caught his eye before he could decide which aisle to browse.
"Uh, no... I thought you looked a bit unsteady, just wanted to give, a - helping hand." Blonde haired, blue eyed, grinning beefcake #2 replied.
"Oh I see, I looked unsteady huh?" The damsel in "distress" asked.
"Just a bit, better safe than sorry. Up and down ladders, can be dangerous. I just thought, oooh, wouldn't want her to fall."
Grinning, the bright smile replied, "Well I think I'll be okay. Might I suggest you hold onto the ladder, instead of me, that way if I fall, you're safe."
"Now what kind of gentlemen would that make me? If its all the same to you, I'd rather hold onto you... that way, if you should fall, you'll have the perfect place to land, on me." He flashed his most charming, engaging smile, his eyes twinkling at her.
"Excuse me? I don't even know you."
"How about we - come down from this ladder, and ah, do something about that then? I know I would just love to."

Ha, you're funny! I love the warmth in their gaze, well, hers, but his must be nice, too, because she looks like she totally trusts him. Actually, from my POV, after reading the story, I'm thinking these two already know each other, they're just doing the ol' role play routine that parental units are always talking about where mum and da go off and pretend not to know each other and then woo each other all over again. Ewww. So am I right? Do I get a prize? Like a Prius. I like Priuses. :) Seriously, I like their interaction, it seems genuine, like they might actually be attracted to each other. Nice expressions. Nice colour with the plant, too, and I like the layered prop thing with the picture behind the ladder. Nice touch. And I like the story, tres cool! You're definitely a practiced writer.
Great story to go with the pic. In the real world he would end up in jail for harassment (or at least in the army - not really the real world). Fun pic though. At first I thought the lamp in the lower right corner was "too shiny". Then I realized it was lit, and it should look that way. Good attention to detail.
