Description
I was driving north through downtown Milwaukee when I spotted this view out my window. The reflections are the windows on the ridiculously immense Milwaukee Colosseum. The building being reflected in Turners' Hall-- a health club, sporting arena, and meeting place from the mid-19th century. Basically it is the great-grandfather of the Colosseum.
Turners' Hall is still thriving after 120 years. The basketball team that uses the Colosseum for free is demanding a new arena be built for them since the current one is nearly 20 years old.
And people wonder why I detest pro sports teams.....
I'm sort of in the picture. You can see my car and my silhouette reflected in the wall (go three squares left of the red Turners Hall logo and look down).

"And people wonder why I detest pro sports teams....." You ain't alone, mate. Oxymoron: pro sports. Neat image. Looks a fascinating building.

Interesting work!
beautifully captured my friend.
Dear David, This is really cool - fabulous reflections - and such an interesting building!!! It has the look of a old courthous - or some other governmental building. Maybe a school??? Hmm - for some reason, your notes and posting information isn't showing up. That happens every now and then - something in the Renderosity servers must have hiccuped!!! Really super photograph!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
