Description
Captured this deer mid fall in my front yard. Shortly after my brand new 40-150mm (80-300mm 35mm film equiv.) lens arrived these deer came visiting. As they were hungry and hoping for a treat, this bold young buck (the two little bumps on top of his head are visible in another photo) was just inches away from my porch where I was standing shooting down. Normally my deer pictures are quite lame but this new lens has really helped me capture the deer that frequent our area. I have a few new favorites from the winter but I am still sorting through those, but none of those can compare to this one. Now, if only I could get some fine captures of those wild turkeys that run around these woods..........
