Description
What you see here is one of the mediaval canals in Breda, a city in the South of Holland. The lighthouse is not a real lighthouse.. it's a work of art. Some people love it, some people hate it and it seems there is no way between. Well, you judge yourself. The picture has been taken a considerable time ago.

Yes, I think it looks absolutely terrible. What a lovely scene it would have been, if it was not there.
It is almost as though someone opened up a 3D nature scene, and threw in a random 3D object. Not bad, but not where I would have put it. The building in the back is neat though.
Oh yes, very strange and interesting too. I like this landscape and your color and composition is perfect!!! :)
Well - the image is great - colors and composition are right on target. The wannabee lighthouse? Hmmm - They managed to place a glass pyramid right in front of the Louvre - and I guess you have the same discussion going on - that never ends in Paris.
Corny. Return it to the artists. The building behind looks much more interesting.
Nice photo, but I don't like the lighthouse, it distracts from the beauty there.
what a differant sort of lighthouse!! what a great find and beautiful capture of this beautiful place !! do not remeber seeing one on a river before love it!!
As always you take such clear nice shots. Mind you I can see why some would not like this. Seems out of place in this canal. Maybe in the ocean!
Wonderful composition!
. Happiness is like the sun: It happens that he is sometimes behind the clouds, but he is always present nevertheless. (( ** Happy New Year ** )) Beautiful photo !!! Very creative realization and excellent colors !!! 5+
Odd place for a art i facial lighthouse but, a good photo none the less. ;-)
