Friday Dec. 15, would have been my Mother's 66th Birthday. Not that she would have wanted everyone to know. She just did not want others to know her age. She has been gone for 12 1/2 years now. It just does not seem that long. She was my best buddy. She was the most beautiful woman in the world to me and do I miss her not being here to see her Granddaughter or show me how to be a Mom. But that is just my selfish feelings, she is not hurting anymore and she is in a much better place. I wanted to post something as lovely as she was to me, but I could not find anything that matched her beauty. She was not just beautiful on the outside, but on the inside. She tried to find the beauty in everyone. I hope that I am 10th of the person she was.
As I made this image, I asked my daughter what she thought. She said it needed to have a little green in it and a little darker. Well she got part of it. I hope this will bring you joy even just alittle. May you all have a beautiful week before Christmas! Thank you for coming in and taking a peek and for the kind comments on past images!

This one went straight into my heart.First when see it as a thumbnail and the name of it made me went in and check a bit closer to it.My first thought was "my childhood-memories and my mother..." ,then when I read your lovely letters about your mother the comp become even stronger for me.Lovely dedi to your mother! There is something with the design, similar design always put me back into my memories of childhood and my mom..
