Description
Red Hot and Ice Cold . . . for Judee3D
A "red hot" fire ant rides a late falling leaf down from a tree, but may need some help finding the nest as some ice cold snow has covered the ground.
This artwork is dedicted to Judee3D, an artistic who uses and has mastered a wide range of tools, who really knows how to breath life like expressions into her fine works, and who is a very supportive friend to have. See her gallery image "Mitsouko" and be amazed! Judee3D also gives back to the art community, check out her www.tuitzone.com website for her fine free items!
This render wa sinspired by a recent photograph, "Lonely Leaf", in the gallery of artist Miladyblu. Not nearly up to the fine standard of that artwork, but after two days of work and multiple renders, like the ant, it is time to move on.
Credits:
Ant is 3DS model "Fourmi-maha" imported into DS and textured
Gound is a 2003 RDNA Xmas free item, "Snow Ground", scaled back extensively, especially in height, and completely retextured.
Gound texture is my latest mcv Renderosity freebie
Leaf is a Poser 2002 CR2 but no credit available
Rendered in Daz Studio with no postwork.

So very wonderful dedication for Judee3D who's in my favorit artists! Stunning render! *****=5 Stars!
Very nice, and love your dedications, always beautiful and lovely.
Super job Mike! Must be fun to ride a leaf (as long as it's not to windy!)
Great job Mike...The ant looks like he's really gliding downward on that leaf...You captured the motion very well...5+
He better get underground quickly ...nice render.
Nice work, you achieved what you set out to do, excellent work!
You did a very fine job on the textures and the way the image looks
Cool scene. :)
Aw thank you mike, for the dedication and the wonderfully kind words. You are such a nice friend - and creative artist! Your imagination always brings something special to your renders - what an interesting one this is, the contrast of "fire" and and winter cold, the story within the image - wondering if the ant will find his way home. Always a new direction for our thoughts to flow! Hugs, judee
