Description
Frost on the window,
warmth in the heart . . .
Dedicated to all my fellow artists at Renderosity
and especially JRoulin, who's tutorial and personal help allowed me to learn to make 3D props for Daz Studio.
It is a time of year when in many areas heating bills go up and still frost may form on the windows. Somehow, if we think of our family, friends, and faith, no matter the frost, we will still find warmth in our hearts!
Daz Studio 1.4.0.8 render made with all free items and tools! All render attempts failed multiple times over several days until all refraction settings set to zero. Thus, it is not actually the
image desired, but hopefully will still be enjoyed.

that is very cute!!!!:)
Super image Mike! That Refraction setting has been a right royal pain in the butt since the days I was beta testing D/S. I spent many a happy time crashing D/S by applying Reflection and Refraction to hair(why do that you may ask) The answer, Because I could and no one but me would be crazy enough to be that unconventional :)!!! LOL
Cool effect, it really looks frosty!
Dear Mike, A really cool idea - showing some of items from your images from the year! I may have to steal the idea!! (I do that a lot!!!) I have to grin at Star4mations recounting of experiences with reflection and and refraction. One of these days maybe we'll see an actual rendering engine that is not only stable, but fast, too!!! (Dream on Blondie!!!) Super frost effects and a nice reminder that the winter season also brings a lot of beauty with the cold!!!! Love ya!!! Meredtih
Very nice, really kewl for this time of year.
real cool work here . frosty man frosty . super and Merry Christnas
Yeah, computers are fun. I tried to achieve a thought in art this weekend for a contest. I was ok with the final product, but if I could only get what's in my head into the computer - we'd all be happy. I noticed you have a worm in the bottem left corner of this picture... I feel strange this christmas too.
A wonderul winter composite ...very nicely done.
Very nice dedication a a real big artist:thank you for sharing!
wonderful...I can remember as a child drawing what I thought were beautiful pictures in that frost on the windows, now I can sit back and smile as I watch my grandchildren do the same thing then grumble when the frost is all gone and the picture is still there as I clean yet another window.....thanks for the memories Mike.
Enjoyed veryx much, and especially the warm words that came with it. Have a lovely Holiday Season, mike, and may the frost on your windows bring yet more fantastic visions and ideas to your art. :) hugs - judee
